One of the most crucial tips is to provide feedback frequently, once a year is not enough and then it may be too late.

We then proceed to step two, compensation and incentivization schemes. That is pay, pay rises, salary bands, promotions and performance based monetary incentives as well as non-monetary perks that you can provide. We can design short- or long-term schemes, including widely known tools and practices but based on our experience we can also suggest alternative, cost-effective solutions you can adopt considering possible tax benefits/implications for both parties.
